    To be honest, I didnt think that the page looked too bad, once all those other things were added to it.

    Looking at the regular Google page, it does seem a little empty now, with a lot of white space ;)

    Very nice.
    Google had kept empty space making it load faster I guess. Thats a reason I started using Google over Yahoo in the past. Just my personal opinion.

    yeah... well they don't need to many logos or fancy design because their traffic [kb] would be insane.
