    You must change with internet marketing demands or else you will be the victim of change. Today’s customers have more choices than ever before , and expect more for their $$.

    With some products this can be the case. With some products there are very limited ways to market them, therefore you can't change. Established websites tend to rely a lot more on word of mouth after a period of time, as they gain popularity people will begin to talk and recommend. Often also there are marketing gimmicks that hit the internet and die down very quickly, those that adopt these techniques can be left high and dry having thrown money and resources into an unsuccessful marketing technique.

    I suppose what I am saying is the counter argument, it can be good to stay with what you know sometimes. Don't get me wrong we do need to change marketing techniques from time to time but I wouldn't say to change just because of the 'fashion' of the time, only change for the good of your site.

    This is obvious thing that a product description has to change for marketing but can you see how strange you are describing :)

    I agree, whilst the cliches he is using to have some valid points to them, they are hardly worthy of taking up a whole thread for each of them.

    Article marketing still works . Same with list building .However , there are some minor changes which can bring some huge rewards. Like , flipping from myspace marketing to squidoo marketing . Or using digg.
