I am getting slammed hard on many of my sites with lost cache and index pages.

I am just wondering what others people are seeing with their sites?

    Thanks

Do the pages in question of loads of unique content? At one time I lost a page that had little content. Finally sat down and wrote some content for page and back it bounced.

I believe so, but maybe not enough. I dunno. if you have time to look I'd certainly like your opinion.

I'm having the opposite problem. About a month ago I put in a 301 redirect to a new domain for one of my sites. Google had dropped the index and cache of all of the old pages a few weeks ago (what I wanted to happen). But now... all of a sudden they are back!

Yes - thats the wierd part.

Even my home page, http://www.mps-golf.com is not cached now but shows as PR5.

what is bizzare is http://mps-golf.com IS cached, and I never refer to the site without www. (maybe someone did a link to me, in fact I am sure they have w/o the www.)

But still the canonicalization shouldnt be causing the whole site to be de-indexed

I'm seeing the exact same thing. My home is not cached, but it's a PR 5. Some of the sub-pages that used to have PR are still cached but are't showing PR anymore...

I don't get any traffic from Google anyways, but this is weird stuff!

Resubmit a site map -- and yeah, make sure the content is unique to at least your own site. I had one site trimmed down from ~900 to 200 in the past month or two. After I screened out the garbage parts of the pages and submitted a new site map last week I now have a much healthier amount of stuff indexed.

Of course, I fully expect the new stuff to eventually get dropped in due time, but.. yeah.
