You Just Can't Outsource SEO

I have been burned to many times by these companies as well.... Basically 95% of them are there to take advantage of people that really do not have a clue. I do everything myself now and it is much better.

 

And it's probably only going to get worse since so many gurus are promoting local SEO services as the next big thing.

 

Local SEO is a big and growing industry.

I think the main problem is that those that are really good at SEO are able to make money on their own projects, and only very big companies with big budgets can pull such people away from their own projects.

So the remaining that is left just don't tend to be on par with the pro SEOs, and if you already have successfully implemented SEO in your own company that divide in knowledge will be very clear.

 

Everyone who has realized that building links is the basics of off-page SEO calls themselves an SEO expert. It seems there are quite a few who don't understand the first thing about on-page SEO or even quality link building.

 

I agree to u Chris. Always, hiring a in-house SEO is good.
