Why do you feel the need to resort to threats? I don't understand.
You have notably failed to give a definitive yes or no, but I will nevertheless invest the time in researching the Qu'aran to find a single verse that promotes peace.

I've told you time and again during your theatricals, it's up to you. Yet you still refuse to commit. If you want to take the thread that direction, do so. You don't need my permission ;)

You mean the grievance theater on the previous page to avoid the issues? I thought it was flattering and humorous! A perfect execution ;)

Refuse to commit? I ask you a question with a yes or no answer - twice - and yet you still fail to give it!

Once again: If I can find a single statement in the Qu'aran that advocates peace, will you retract your statement that there is "nothing peaceful about Islam"?

    Yes or No?

Once again, you don't need my permission to post. Why you feel you need my permission and continue to procrastinate is something only you can answer.

How about these scriptures? They seem peaceful, no?

I'm all raring to go, son - and I am completely accepting of the possibility that I might fail to find such a quote - so why can't you commit to a simple Yes or No to the above statement? Why do you fail to commit to this "challenge"?

I'm not asking for permission - I'm asking for a Yes or No commitment from you that you will retract your statement that there is "nothing peaceful about Islam" if I can find a single peaceful quote in the Koran.

Stop being such a weaselling politician. Will you retract your statement if I can find such a verse? Yes or No?

    Upset, no - frustrated, yes.
Put the popcorn away, lad - I'm not going to post anything until you answer my Yes/No question (which you are clearly not going to).
    See you around, son.

See imposter by saying above thing you are falling in Gtechs trap. U are putting a question mark yourself. Better is challange him to show any part which is not good and try to satisfy him ( rather others) that he is wrong . Let the people over here judge it ( not Gtech).

The stupidity of this poll/the way it puts out the question is beyond moronic.

    Historically, the following has occurred:

We established a truce with North Korea/China in the 1950's ending the Korea war.

America didn't lose. Americans don't bow down to Kim. The two countries moved on.

America ended its involvement in Vietnam in the 1970's. Vietnam didn't take over our country. In fact 30 years later Bush visited the nation to establish stronger ties.

After years of fighting in Afghanistan the Soviet Union pulled its troops out. Afghanistan didn't take over the Soviet Union. Russians don't bow down to Afghani rulers.

Many European nations pulled out of colonial lands throughout Africa, Asia and North and South America. Those European nations still survive.

The idea of win or lose is simply historically STUPID.

We did, with allies, fight a gigantic war during WWII. At that time the US population of between 130-140 million supported a military force of approximately 8.4 million people in uniform. We put all our resources into that battle, and with allies defeated Germany, Japan, and Italy.

We destroyed the enemy military and ravaged the nations through all out bombing over years.

In Iraq on the other hand we entered a country quickly after a short war where the Iraqi military was quickly defeated. Now though there is this anarchic multi-sided insurgency where American troops are the targets of well-armed different groups, all somewhat anti-American. They include Sunni's, Shiites, Al-Queda terrorists, different shiite groups against one another, sunni's and shiites against one another, probable general lawlessness, and who knows what. The borders aren't protected, the various groups in Iraq are all getting regularly rearmed, we never had enough ground soldiers to replicate what happened in WWII, and we have become targets of multiple enemies within the land.

There are many options. Unfortunately they are difficult and will be painful. But continuing this process as is, without actually trying to replicate a real win...is lying to Americans....especially the ones who die for stupid reasoning like this.

We aren't fighting IRAQ or a country. Once you understand that then the poll is very simple. Only those who struggle with bush seem to not understand the question. It appears everyone sees this as a Bush thing, so if Bush is involved then he must lose cause everyone hates him.....

If we were fighting against Iraq, we would not be positioned there as we are (america). Those you call freedom fighters, may actually think they are fighting for freedom from America when America does not plan on being there longer than they have to. So yes, some are legit freedom fighters that are as confused as gworld to as why America is there.

Many of those freedom fighters, if they understood this, would be helping the US forces push out the terrorists (ones who kill anyone and everyone, whether or not they are military or civilian to bring terror in the hearts of all people)

So if the idiots would quite trying to tell everyone the US is there to steal the oil, maybe, just maybe they would stop killing. (At least the true "freedom fighters" of the country would.)

Bush must be doing worse than I thought when even debunk admits to existence of freedom fighters even in this limited form. :D

I think you are the one who is confused about the purpose of this war and the role of oil as one of it's objectives. Just read the documents about the meetings in Washington even before the start of the war and agreements about division of oil resources among different oil companies. It seems while this administration didn't have enough time to properly prepare for this war, it had enough time to chose the future oil minister of Iraq and make agreement with oil companies about the contracts that future Iraq government had to sign. ;)
