This came as a surprize to me! I set up a new product and got an email from them with advertising options, including a listing in the marketplace. For some reason, I always thought it's a free listing! What's the logic behind that? Wouldn't it result in more sales and more money for everyone if vendors got listed for free?
well if it was free then there would be 1000s of very poor quality products listed. So paying is good really, if your willing to pay to get it listed then it means that you think that it will sell well.
No, this is not true. You can pay if you want to appear in the sponsored section (marketplace page). However, your product is listed free of charge in the marketplace search engine after you get your product approved. Cheers
**Agreed, it's good there's a filter, and STILL tons of crap products get through, I think they should raise it personally. **Yes, but to get it approved, you pay $50 (then $30 for every product after that). So technically, no it's not free to get listed in the marketplace.
True, but if you don't pay the $50 activation fee, you CANNOT even process payments. So you're paying for your product to accept payments via Clickbank.
Would probably be totally filled with junk and spam and even harder to navigate than it is $50 to get approved as a product and a basic listing isn't bad - way cheaper than any other major affiliate network
Mine is on the very last page in the very last position I am assuming that's how the newest products get placed. Does anyone have a good manual on how to attract affiliates and get the affiliate sales going? Thanks!
