I have a question in my mind ....and thinking about from last few days....

MY question is whether subdomain rank well in search engine or deeplink ...?

if we have equal seo effort for them which one can rank better...subdomain or deeplink......?

i will appreciate if u answer me..it will not only provide me knowledge but for all who are beginners

deeplink get fast ranking compare to sub domain bcz sub domain is different domain means not connect to domain but deeplink is connect to main domain.

 

I Prefer pages (deep links) for the specific keywords. If you need to build a completely separate category, you can go with subdomains. for example if you are selling complete range of laptops and cameras then you can go for camera.yourdomain.com and laptop.yourdomain.com but for particular keywords like sony camera you can create a page camera.yourdomain.com/sony-camera.html or whatever.

You get benefit when creating pages within the primary domain rather than going for separate sub domain as you will get some link juice from the primary domain as well.

According to my experience deplinks work wonders then the subdomain ,
make sure you name your pages accordingly and seo friendly.

Thanks to all of you....really i was thinking from last few month about this thing but now solved....really thanks...

 

Pages are ranked ....not websites....deep links take the spiders deep into the site....spiders will normally get the first 5 pages ....deep links take them farther in....

 

one question more...i have supernatural tv shows deeplink and also its subdomain then should i do link exchange for my deep link or sub domain...which one is better.............?

 

If you can do both...that would be strong......

 

I think deeplinks are much beneficial as they can get much easier exposure in search engine ranking depending upon the promotion of your main domain.
