You get your Bush bucks yet?

I am getting it via direct deposit, but I'm in that last group for the direct deposit.
I'll have it by the 16th, though.

What are you guys doing with your stimulus check?

My husband and I are using it for part of the down payment on our first home, so that will actually help the economy.

 

I won't be recieving a stimulus check. :[

 

I guess that helps keeps a little more money in our country's bank account. Didn't file taxes?

 

Ours should be here within the month to july. They're sending in order of social security numbers aren't they?

 

I think everyone should take their money and give it to the Obama campaign. That would really make this stupid idea backfire on George and his friends.

I don't love Obama, I just think it's silly to think that this actually does anything for the economy. Most people will give the money to their credit card accounts which doesn't do much for the economy but it probably the smartest thing to do if you have high interest debt.

 

exactly. Me and my grandpa was talking about this the other day. If craphead wants to boost the economy then they need to send everyone $50k.

Well I guess we are only getting $600 since our income was on the low side last year (we moved) which kind of sucks because I thought we were going to get the $1200 since we're married, but oh well.

 

I agree that it won't do much to help the economy but giving it to the Obama campaign would be funny.

 

Yeah, lol. That would be funny. It probably won't do a lot, but for only getting $600, we're doing a lot. We're going to be buying a house. Ok, so it's a foreclosure, but at least the government doesn't have to bail the bank out because of that house.
