Buyers are coming here for cheap price. Buyer requirements: Budget: $2-$3 Then, buyer expect a very well-written article for that price? EzineArticles, AC, HubPages ... quality? Content rich articles? Unique and original content? Articles free from grammar and spelling errors? I appreciate your comments and advice.
The quality of the article doesn't mean better SERP. SE bots can't tell how good the article is. They can only tell if it's unique or not. But if the article is useful and well written, someone might actually read it and even link to it.
Content rich? probably not. As long as people know that you DO get what you pay for its not a big deal. There are ways to outsource the article writing so that YOU are paying 2-3 dollars for HIGH quality articles but then you mark them up and charge 5-10 for each one. Because they would THEN be good quality. Otherwise yeah. Everyone wants something for nothing. Just tell them to go away
indirectly they can - link popularity statistically can be used as a proxy for popularity, if the population size is large enough.
My advice is: Decide whether those buyers are in your market. If so, contact them. If not, click the X on the top right hand of your screen and proceed to the next posting. Repeat as needed to find buyers that are in your market.
Have gone through the article pack I purchased and they seem fine. I also checked them against copyscape and firstparasearch all cleared. Input my own keywords and ready to go - these saved me a ton of time - just a quick thanks!
There are markets for all kinds of materials. Don't let requests here set your rates. You should be setting rates for your work based on how well you write, how well you market and what you need to make per hour to sustain your business. Naturally, these should all match up. If you can't write at the top levels, don't price or market yourself there. There are plenty of mediocre writers making good money because they can market. There are plenty of good writers making poor money because they can't. Run your own business and in part of your marketing plan, establish who your target market is. Ignore anyone who isn't in that market. It's as simple as that.
Yup, you saved "a ton of time," bluffspot. It's too bad that is the only benefit you will get from it.
+1 for letting other people buy garbage that doesn't rank while you laugh and steal their rankings by getting decent quality content.
Well tell you the truth, I write complete unique articles for just $5. It is just the difference in economies. $5 means a lot to an Asia writer but not so much to an American writer. Asian writers will seldom charge over $7 or $8 per 500 words no matter how experienced they are.
Have you read some of the $2 writing that people are selling online? I wouldn't put it on my site even if the writer paid *me* $20! All we can do is make sure our own writing is tight. After that, market your writing services to buyers who find $2-quality articles unacceptable. There's a vibrant market that pays for quality writing services online. It's up to us to get their attention, and then prove we're worth paying more for.
Well you cannot blame all just because you had a bad experience. I am a freelancer, I work at Elance.com and freelancer.com and people produce very good pieces for $2 or $3. I can certainly show you $1 articles that you can definitely use somewhere.
Honestly, if you are able to provide all of what you stated in your OP, then start charging higher. If you can't, make that clear for potential. If they still want to get that kind of value for that kind of price, just ignore them (after you explained it to them in the first place of course) because they won't understand.
Kindly speak for yourself. I know several writers from Asia (even a few from Pakistan) who earn $20 and above per 500w (or whatever yardstick you use to measure a standard sized article). I was paid $120 this month for an essay and have several on-going gigs where I get paid $20 and above for articles that are simple to write. Okay, such clients are not so easy to come-by in markets like DP BST, but once they get hold of a good writer, even they don't wish to let go.
