Hello Everyone, I would like to ask that which forums are your favorite to build signature links for your blogs and sites? and how effective have they been in your link building and SEO? DigitalPoint used to be quite effective for my blogs but since they've turned the signature links NOFOLLOW, it is of no use now. and I now post at websitebabble and warriorfourm to build dofollow links. Looking forward to see where all of you make posts to build these links! Thanks!
Hi, I am new to blogging and link building. I have read the google issue about SEO and these nofollow links. Then I ask my senior who has a PR 4 on his site if these nofollow links forum like digital point is really of no use. He said that based on his experiment, it still one of the easiest and effective way to gain PR as well as traffic to ur site or blog. Well on my case, still dont know about the PR since i've checking since then on my PR but always get a N/A result for maybe my blog is just two months old. But for the traffic, its really a big help because it is providing me at least 2 visitors a day.
NoFollow links only make your link building look natural to search engines so they're important to that extent only, not more than that.
digitalpoint used to be my absolutely favorite dofollow forum, but it is no longer dofollow. I am still looking for a good place that will match it... dp is still great for discussions, just no dofollow benefit.
It's not just for discussions. As stated, the links still give that natural-feel to Google. You can't have all your links as dofollow, so the small percentage that you utilize through forums like DP will be enough for that portion of your links which are nofollow.
Do follow only increases your site's page rank. No follow sites tend to appear more natural and if you're in the business of attracting more visitor's to your site, then having a combination of both will get you the results you want. Forum links are a very small aspect of backlinks, and regardless if they are do follow or no follow, carry very little weight on SERPs.
