    I have this article that some webmasters may find useful. It shows various alternatives as to how you don't have to always depend on Google as your sole source of income , webtraffic and other services they provide.

    There will always be an alternative that you can choose to that won't force you to follow certain rules you don't agree with such as buying textlinkads etc.

    I love Google...it provides 80% of my web traffic.

    I use only organic SEO methods, and have NEVER used PPC or Ad-Words!

    i use adsense, but currently looking for another advertiser since my earnings has decreased dramticly with adsense

    In term of seo google is superstar..but people hate it when related with google adsense and adwords.

    I'm doing much better with affiliate marketing these days. Adsense is pretty unreliable....still good for a few bucks a day though.

    Adwords is crazy expensive but this SEO stuff seems to be wokring more an more each day so I'm pretty happy with G as long as I keep moving up in the SERPs
