    hey guys,

I didn't know this before but I just made few calls to India & then USA. I came to know I can't transfer money from India to Australia or anywhere else but you can only receive money in India. :(

    What the hell.....:(

Any other way anyone know about how to transfer money from India to Australia where real banks are not included?

I also asked some WU representative in my area and they also said that we can receive money in India but cannot send money out of India.

if you are transferring legal obtained money, why fear using the banks for the transfer. it should be a lot safer and secured.

    Hello

Transferring money from India is not feasible with western union

You can do one thing with utilizing the services of moneybookers and Paypal you can trasfer your fund first to their account and after this you can also transfer the fund to anyone accross the globe with having moneybookers or paypal account

I am assuming that you have a credit card because you need that if you want to have a verified paypal account. You can most definitely just pay through paypal using your credit card.

As for moneybookers, you can load it up with your credit card too or via bank transfer.

Why do you fear using the banking system ? Are you doing anything illegal which you do not want your government to know about ?

From what I know, (after writing to Paypal) you can use credit cards to fund your payments but you cannot add funds to it. Makes sense? I got confused too, at first. Meaning, even if you have a verified credit card for Paypal, you cannot add funds to your Paypal account using it BUT if someone (like a client of yours) requests for payment from you via Paypal, Paypal will credit the amount from your verified credit card.

Currently only banks in India are permitted to implement outward remittances. Money transfer operators like Western Union Money Transfer, Moneygram etc, are not allowed to offer outward remittances in India due to money laundering. You can receive money through money transfer services like Western Union however can not send money from india to abroad. However ecommerce platforms like Bookmyforex.com or transferwise do work well in India. And they mostly have good rates, even better than Banks

Western union,MoneyGram,Xpresspay, xoomMoney all are one way traffic In India,You can only receive funds sent from outside India but can't send Funds outside. You can use Wire transfer through your checking account (be ready for a lot of questions from your banker) or use paypal to send funds. The easiest way is to find a friend staying outside India pay him/her in Indian Account and ask him/her to do a Western union for you.
