you cant creat a folder name "prn" in windows XP

    try to rename or creat a folder name prn i dont know why window dont allow to creat this folder,,,, no error message appear too....

    check it out!

    Dates back to the old DOS days, prn was the printer device, you could copy things to the device, it's basically a reserved word, I'm surpised it's still used in XP

    glad I'm not using windows, I would have to name my "prn" folders with a more evident name.

    Yes all old DOS reserved words won't work, CON, PRN, AUX, LPT1, LPT2.....

    I can remember creating files with copy con: and I also remember doing this:

    copy con: com1:
    atdt123456
    ctrl-z

    to check if a modem was working without using a terminal program.

    Ahh the good old days, when computers were big, loud, and a 128k ram upgrade cost $900.
