Well the title basically says it all, I was recently contacted by one of the AdSense advertising in my niche and I was wondering is it a breach of TOS if continue to communicate with them seeing they contacted me wishing to advertise on my site?

You need to speak with Google about that... and this has nothing to do with my thread... I suggest starting your own.

I'm confused, were you contacted by an AdWords advertiser?

They can advertise on your site via the "Advertise on this site" button.

If they're trying to organise some sort of alternative or dedicated advertising, there's nothing wrong with that.

    Hello from another Brisbanite :)

I was under the impression that Google didn't want clients talking with publishers... either way I have sent an email to Google so I should get response in the next couple of days I will post their comments.

There is no way for Google to regulate that, just as it's legal for you to sell AdBrite links and AdSense at the same time, it's fine for you to accept separate links from this current advertiser. What you do on your site is up to you.

Surely you didn't mention the advertiser in the email?

i think there is nothing wrong doing this...

Adsense dos'nt own your iste... its your site! and if some one contact you to advertise on your site, its OK...

even if you look it at adsense TOS statment,,, its ok to me!
