You can NOT make money from blogs about making money online

This is my opinion. I have done extensive research in this market and this is the conclusion i have came up with:

From all making money online ventures, making money from a blog about making money online is the worst solution in terms of time invested/revenue gained. Of course you can make several thousands $$ per month, perhaps more than 10 thousands $$ if you are pretty good, but overall is a pretty inefficient source for making money online.

I put this thread because i see many people thinking that this is the easiest way to do it, and noobs without any experience on the web start blogs about making money online thinking they will make money from it. And this trend is growing tremendously.

This is my opinion. I would love to hears yours , especially from those who have blogs about making money online.

 

Personally I wouldn't know the first thing about making a profit out of telling others how to make a profit. I only do web/graphic design, and that's the only niche I'm sticking to.

After a while you'd think people writing about the same thing would be redundant, but apparently not. I suppose it's like any other niche, you can have thousands of authors, designers, artists, and so on, but only few manage to stick out because they're good at what they do. All I know is that if you're losing more money than making then you're in the wrong business.

 

I couldn't agree more, especially people who are not credible

 

If you have interesting views, you will thrive. There are hundreds of blogs about that topic, but I still visit 15-20 a day; mainly because they have interesting content.

Obviously all the newbies that are only in it for the money won't get far at all.

 

well depends on what is your blog about.If you are making blog about some PTC and sites alike to get direct refferals it may get you heck of a lot direct refferals.But on other side to get direct refferals you will need to invest atleast 100-10000$ depending on how much you are willing to spend.

 

Oh shi. I totally forgot that today is the day when we all go and dig up ancient threads..

 

Agreed, it's all about having a different perspective. If you've got something to add to the already endless stream of "guru" and "make money online" blogs then there is money to be made.

 

They get boring after a while, but if you got good posting and new advice people going to come back to your blog

This niche is already saturated ..

 

So is the job market, go figure.
