To make money here you need to go to your adsense account and copy your publisher id. Then go to your cpanel (user cp) ->EDit OPtions and paste your publisher id :) Whenever you make new threads you'll earn all of the clicks from the google ads or else they'll go to the owners I think. Hope this will make ya rich :D lol.

Revenue-sharing hasn't worked all that well in my favour. But then again, I post once every blue moon.

I haven't made anything significant yet from revenue sharing. You got to start a lot of threads to increase your chance of getting a click.

I think the problem is you run the risk of getting smart priced if your impressions show. Forums have a netourisoly bad CTR

The revenue sharing is still a neat idea. I got some impressions, but no intention really to build revenue on that. It is a cool feature, why not.

Well here is why we won't be getting much revenue, this is mostly a tech related forum. Not only tech it is about the internet and websites. Most of our eyes have became immune to online advertisements, so nobody really clicks on them

If that is true, then how come I made OVER 50 cents since I first registered here?

Interesting idea, ironic that you probably just created this thread to make money as most people already knew how it worked, but I digress.

I only really show ads on the very new threads (only place they show) to see if impressions show, it just kind of shows me if any traffic is going to any posts that I made a while ago, even though they rarely earn anything, it's still kind of fun to watch.

Congratulations on your 4 cents though.

yea, well done on the 4 cents - don't spend it all at once :p

I think for adsense to be worth doign you need very large volumes of traffic with a decent CTR

Revenue sharing (on any board) is just to befool the members .. A real revenue sharing should mean sharing of 50% or so profit among the posters, based on the number of useful posts/threads they made every month. Each post could have a link saying "Useless" and it would be discounted from that member's total posts of that month. blah blah blah ..

other than that, don't fall into "This is an ad revenue sharing forum" thing ;)
