You can do it too

I started Adsense a year and a half ago, I had no idea about it and someone told me to put ‎Adsense on a forum I have, I went to the site and applied and got approved and next thing ‎I know I am making money.‎

    In the early days, I used to make 3$, 4$, 5$ or even 8$. The 8$ a day was a good day.‎

I began reading about Adesne, from Forum to Forum, I spent hours reading, after few ‎months I moved from 8$ to 15$ a day.‎

Now after a year and a half, I had a new record yesterday, 150$ in one day.‎

All I have to say is read, read and read more. Without those people who used to post on ‎Forums, I was never going to pass the 20$ a day, now I left my 9-5 job and I work from ‎home! ‎

Believe me, anyone can do it.‎

Just to add to the above thoughts...

Diversify. Don't stick with one topic, or even just one site if you can help it. Advertisers come and go, PPC rates change, and traffic goes through trends. Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

I hope you don't base all your revenue off of adsense because if you quitted your job and something goes wrong.

    You're screwed lmao.

Odd... I have two sites that do quite well in Adsense... but the forum revenues stink.

Unfortunately, I will only ever have one site. I am not a web person so I would have to pay someone to make sites for me, so it is just not worth it. I will have to do the best I can with the site I have. I know that you can probably do much better with many sites, but that won't happen for me. I am happy just working on one site (that is really all I have time for anyway :) )and I don't have extreme expectations so I think whatever I am able to do with the site, I will be happy with.

Just wondering, does anyone here do well with just one site?

Why don't you turn in to one of those people now that you're earning a reasonable ammount?

    Hi Janet

A few people do very well with one website and Adsense.

One here on the forums does $20,000.00 per month.

The only thing not possible, is that which you tell yourself is impossible.

I have 4 sites I run with adsense. I have noticed that there sure are trends - cycles with advertising, different paying ad-cycles, traffic etc. I earn a fairly steady average each day - but I wouldn't be able to do that with just one site. On the day that one of my sites does badly then another one picks up (I'm sure google cycles its good-paying ads from site to site just to amuse me ;)) so I keep at my average earnings reliably. I certainly wouldn't like to just have one site if I was trying to earn a living from adsense, nor would I like to rely entirely on adsense. Whatever business you're in, it makes sense to try and diversify income.

If you care to say, what is the site of yours that generates this revenue?

I am definately not trying to make a living with my site. It is a part time "hobby" to make some extra money. :D
