    I was posting a comment on a blog just a minute ago and after hitting submit I got the following note "You are posting comments too quickly. Slow down."
    This was a comment on a commentluv blog- wetcoastwomen.com

    I have been posting comments this week but none in the last 2 days? None today, of course? I am not sure if I should take this seriously? Have any of you had this message before?

    Even commentluv seems to be doing some 'banning' nowadays. So just be careful and if you see a blank screen after commenting go here

    I have had this problem many times, especially with CommentLuv. My personal theory is that it tracks your activity much slower than you can post your comments, so as a result, displays a message telling you to 'slow down' on your comments because you're 'posting too fast', even if you are not.

    In the past I have gotten around this by posting using different name/keywords, email and domain. I haven't had to change my IP yet.

    I have tried to get Akismet to unblock my IP address but they responded "We are not a blacklisting program. Some blog owners must think you are a spammer". I am considering changing my IP address but I still find sites that will accept my posts. Has anyone else had Akismet refuse to unblock their site? I submittted my request to them and I don't know if I have a choice but to change my IP address, if that is even posssible.
