Hi do I have to use regular word press tags when writing articles, keywords if I am using the Yoast Plugin? and adding tags through that? or should i use both
stick with wp tags. yoast tags are nothing. that plugin just checks the word count and shows the snippets of posts. and remember don't use excessive tags. to understand the usage of tags. understand the example let say you're posting about Volkswagen 2013 model. now you will select the category "Cars". because the Cars category can have so many cars with different models. here you can create a tag "Volkswagen" for convenience of visitors to filter posts about specific company. now the question is why can't you create category instead of tags? yes you can create category as well. but to manage so much categories is a tough job. lets say you have 30 categories. everytime you'll have to spend good amount of time to find the suitable category to post. also tags appear more in search engines results than categories.
yeah. doesn't matter. the reality is I never take meta etc and keyword stuffing. Google itself don't consider meta tags. in the result after penguin update when people were crying. I was jumping high
