Yoast SEO - Is it helping you at all?

I've installed Yoast SEO on my website in order to generate organic traffic to my website. I'd love from this forum your Yoast feedback. Good? Bad?

Would you say that it is just as effective as having a SEO guy (or gal) working on you website?

 

I think yoast is impressive, cause it's help not only beginners but also experts too. When you're missing some important SEO task like implementing image Alt text or Heading tag, it's allow you to find easily those steps that you should follow.

When I teach my students about SEO, my first choice is Yoast for newbie. So, I like it or should I say LOVE it. ha ha...

 

On-page SEO is one piece of the puzzle. Off-page SEO is the hard part.

it is really good SEO plugin...many successful bloggers use this plugin with premium features...most of the on-page SEO of the website is taken care by this plugin...!!!

and how do you do it?

can not post my blog link here so i would recommend you to using Google for "Snippets".
You need to fill all the options that're require while posting your articles. If you're posting "list type" article than you can use Excel in order to make a snippet. (I'm unable to explain it completely )

 

I have Yoast SEO Plugin from a long time. And it working very well. It has some amazing features such as:

• User-friendly
• Easy to select page for index or not index
• Help in Search Engine Optimization of a website

 

Since everyone is praising Yoast like it's the holy grail, I'll gladly slip into the role of the devil's advocate to show the other side of the coin.

First of all, YES, Yoast will help you with SEO and it's not a bad plugin. BUT, it's neither 100% correct in every way nor 100% up to date.

This concept is outdated and has been disproved years ago. For example, Brian Dean (Backlinko) stated on his blog:

It’s unlikely that Google uses keyword density as a ranking factor. [...] Think about it: Imagine if page A contained the keyword “oatmeal cookies” only once. And page B contained that same keyword 7 times. Which page would you think is more likely to be about “oatmeal cookies”? Thought so.

My recommendation: You can use Yoast, if you like but it won't release you from the duty to do research and improve SEO on your own.

 

It is really best for SEO. I also used my website. it is so effective and handling too easy.

 

Yoast helps... but don't expect A LOT. The most helpful factor that can help you with your SEO is time...and of course, paid ads.

I never really understood why people use the services of "SEO experts". They can do more harm than good. You can get equal value following few simple good steps with online and offline practices.

 

SEO is a tool scammers use to prey upon and steal from people that are to dumb to know better, or too naive, or too lazy to take some simple steps to improve their sites. It is MATHEMATICALLY IMPOSSIBLE for SEO 'experts' to deliver on their promises, so they are nothing more than a lying pack of THIEVES.
