No, I think the sale was through one of my personal generated leads. I have been doing about 2-3 article a day and think I'll need hundreds of articles to generate sales. Am working on better resource boxes and keywords. Also funnily have found a better CTR on my articles after i added a photo - maybe coincidence? Happened on 6 articles after I added it...

Dead right, not sure how long it will actually take to get the cheque but you are right, am just going to keep working harder and get lots more opportunities to get sales so that they are more likely to happen.

And that is the million dollar problem!!

 

You need to have five sales, made with five different credit cards used to purchase your product...before you can get issued a check. I'm sure you know this already Azure11, but if you don't.....Get your ass to work! Clickbank is one of the better starter affiliates, but you don't want your account to sit dormant - or be waiting for those first five sales for too long. CB will start nailing you with dormancy fees, and generally doing things to annoy you.

Use this sale to get things rolling, and get your five credit card sales. Once you get a payment, or two, you can switch to paypal to ensure you get paid in lesser increments. Hopefully they won't be less though! Good luck bro!

Thanks, I have a website that I am promoting with a small amount of PPC but focusing on article marketing. I also have some blogs which seem to get some organic traffic as I try to update them every other day or so.

That's fantastic! I am a newbie. I just started promoting two products on clickbank basically using article marketing. Was their a particular method/system you followed (bought/purchased) or was it a system that you designed yourself? I feel like I am spinning my wheels more than actually getting traction with anything so I'm always curious when someone has success to see if there is anything I can learn from it, as well. That has to be a great feeling! Keep it up!

 

@Azure great to see those 2-4 sales came through! I had my 4th the other day. Now am waiting on my fifth as well. Funny we seem to be on the exact same rate/course

 

@TC yes, that was my thinking and it is funny that when you have someone else in the same position as you then it starts to get competitive but in a good way (or maybe that is just me!) so that you want to push yourself to get that 5th sale first - but that can only be good as that means I will work harder to try and get it.

Having said that I do find it a bit disheartening sometimes, for example when I get lots of clickthroughs on my articles but then no sales or maybe one day I will get hardly any hops.

So let's see who gets to the 5th sale first...I'll race you!!

Congratulations on your first sale.

Now all you have to do is go back and figure out what you did right to get that sale and expand upon it. Since it converted for you, try building up a bigger campaign for that product and flood the search engines with well backlinked articles to grab a spot on that elusive first page and you'll see money coming in.
