Has anyone used the PHP web framework called Yii ? www.yiiframework.com

So far I've used CodeIgnitor, CakePHP and find Yii to be my top choice for web frameworks. Please share any experiences you have using this or take a look and see if its something you would use.

I haven't tried CakePHP, but everything I've read/heard about it is horrible. I've also glanced at the docs and didn't like how it looked.

CodeIgniter is my personal preference. It's a very nice framework and has WELL written documentation. The only downfall about it that I see is that they're not going to support PHP5 anytime soon.

KohanaPHP is a modified CodeIgniter that is PHP5 only. It picks up where CodeIgniter could go. The syntax is a little difference, but it's not really hard to get used too. The main thing that is lacking from it though is it's documentation. It's often hard to understand something specific your looking for, but overall it's a great framework.

I've never had any experience with Yii, but i've never heard of anything so bad that it stayed in my memory.. lol.

Sorry about that. I should have stated it better. CodeIgniter supports PHP5, but doesn't take advantage of it like KohanaPHP does.
