I received a number of questions over PM, so I thought this post would be the best way to answer all of them at once.

What do I mean by basic SEO? :
- every page has a different title
- every page has a description tag
- every page has keyword tags
- internal links with keywords
- no dead links (both internal & external)

What do I mean with unique concept:
Unique content is fine, but there are a lot of people out there creating unique content. For example this post is unique content, but by posting it on a blog it would not be a unique concept (blog on sharing Adsense success). To stand out among all the people having a blog about Adsense you need to be really skilled/rich/unemployed(=have lots of time)

However if you can create something unique that people are missing than you are on to a winner, without any initial competition you can create a community with enough critical mass (unless you have big bucks)
Have a think what you get annoyed by on a daily basis and I'm sure you will come up with a good idea.

Where do I place my adds?
Test, test and test more. I have changed my add placements probably over 100 times to try to get better results.

Is my site a blog or a forum?
nope

I'm suffering from Google Paranoia, so I will not share my url. I had some bad experiences with jealous people :-(

I guess I am getting confused, because of my not understanding the whole 'tag' idea and how people use them at the bottom of their posts on wordpress and such.

Or maybe they are related to the keyword tags. What are their purpose? wow looks like I'm more confused today than yesterday, whats new...

yup, i was wondering what kind of football site? All football site is all the same I think..about latest news in premiership, champions league, etc.
