Yet another new Directory.

Added two sites, Thank you.

When I opened my directory this week, I got around 50 submissions from the forum right off the bat, now they are coming in a few at a time.

 

I'm kind of expecting a few at a time.
After all, there's no PR on the pages yet, nor are they cached.
Main domain homepage is PR4 with very few IBL's, so I'm hopefull of a PR5 or 6 directory in the next update.

Maybe people from this forum would put a 60 day link to the page their site is listed on, to help get it crawled.

I often do that for directory start ups.

Goshen, PM me a title + description for your directory, and I'll put you on two dmoz-based directories (home PR4/5, pages PR2-4), that should get you started somehow.

 

I just submitted my site too, thanks. Just a typo on your site. The photography category under Arts is spelt "Photorgaphy".

wrt the keywords, it turns out it doesn't matter
I just personally think it's easier to comma separate keywords/phrases. Although you will actually match more if they're not separated.
This will probably be fixed in the code at somepoint.

OK, a couple of bugs have been squashed.
In the 'search' it will now return a category if it matches the search term. The search will return partial matches ie if you seach for photo it would return photograph, photos etc etc

The displaying of the premium sites has been fixed - homepage premium sites now display on the homepage, about page, contact page, and all add-site-pages.

 

Tried visiting the site, but the browser says "Operation Timeout...".. Is it only me or others are also experiencing the same.

 

I have the same problem with opening this directory...
