Hello, so far I have had some good feedback from members here regarding CB, and how to start making money from them.
I know I need a good landing page for the product I choose. Members have said to write a really good review of the product I want to sell etc...
I was wondering two things really:
    1. How important it it to get visitors email address?
    2. Do "original" landing pages tend to work? By that I mean the Rich Jerk kind of rude approach to selling?
It isn't as easy as it looks this CB lark!
    Thanks in advance :)

It's important to get visitors' email address so that you can send them emails later promoting other products. However I think it's not necessary when you just start, as the cost of the auto-responder service is kind of high, I know it's only around $20/month for aweber, but it's better to play the low and free way when you just start.
I also think the review page type works the best. The review should be honest, stating pros and cons of the product, if you bluntly appear to sell something, it will scare the visitors away.
Just my 2 cents. Good luck :)

To make the actual sale it's not very important for follow up it is.

Yes they do unfortunately, lot of affilate go for the 'Is X product a scam? read this report' apporach works very well apart from the point that the people selling the product often ditch you for giving them a bad name.
