Umm excuse me, so you are saying that when someone signs up with hosting with your company that you are not allowed to just stop using your services when you have either sold your website or changed hosts? This would be the reason for the "months" of non-payment. Why would you allow an account to mark up months of non payment anyways? You so blatently suspended my account without not even an email explaining why or when. I know I have not received such emails as I am looking at both my inbox and BULK and there is absolutely no email from you. The contact email that I have in my CPANEL is the email address that I would expect you to contact me at. So no email. When you say: "When someone comes on here saying they were suspended unjustly when in fact they didn't pay their bill we have a right to clear up the facts to defend our reputation. " Does clearing up the facts include posting people's personal information? You could have just said I will clear this up with you via PM. How does this have anything to do with your reputation? Obviously there have been other problems with your company if you are taking one personal complaint to heart. There is absolutely no way that I had signed up with your company a second time to "avoid" paying an overdue account. It shouldn't have been overdue anyways because I had sold my sites.
is your spam protection on? cause i think hostgator send mails from a email that go inside the spam folder... so that could be a reason why you did not get his emails.... cause they are automatically deleted by the spam filter... anyway the secret is getting problem free hosting, is by going for a new or small company who will do anything to keep there customers happy.... so if you stick to a small company, then you will never have any problem because they will do anything to keep there customers since they dont get too many customers... but companies that are bigger dont care since it dont effect them if you leave them... that is the reason why i am still with that hosting company....
If you sold the site or stopped using it you need to cancel it with the host. We provided you months of service and weren't paid for it, and yes we usually do allow people to go past due for a while. Would you do this with your cell phone provider? Electric company? Etc..... The emails were sent to the email on file. We have no way to control you checking this email or if this even a valid email still. I'm guessing it's not since you haven't contacted us from this email yet. Whether you receive the email or not that doesn't change the fact that your invoice comes due the same day every month. You come on digitalpoint saying " Yet another horror story with HostGator.com... " which all it really was is your bill not being paid. Had we not suspended it this time for non payment as last time this whole thread would have been avoided. I'm sorry for the problems you had, but again pay on time = no suspension. If you have any more questions or need any help please respond to the ticket you have with us.
Actually I came on Digital Point saying YET another horror story with HostGator.com for the lack of quality customer service with your company, being switched from one part of your company to the next (sales to tech support to sales again) being on hold for more than an hour, etc, etc. So basically yes, I still do believe it was a horror story, and its my freedom of speech to voice it.
