Yesturday 28 clicks= $40 | Today 8 clicks = $0.74 -How does that work?

How does that work ? I mean yesterday when i was at 8 clicks i had way more, today im at 8 and only have $0.74 ? wish means by the end of the day even i get back to 28 clicks I'm going to have barely anything compared to my 28 clicks yesterday that resulted in $40

can anybody explain this to me ?

 

I'm super new to adsense also so I'm not 100% sure but I think if someone buys something or spends money on a site that you referred them to then you get commission on that transaction.

 

the ads rotate so most clicks are expensive during weekdays compared to weekends.

 

Different ads that display have different bid values .. some clicks might make you 7 cents while some might make you a few dollars. Maybe one day you had a popular post with a more profitable keyword

 

can the case be that the 468x60 ads are better than the 120x600 because yesturday i had 468x60 and today i dont and the ads seem to be the same all the time

 

Get the avg over months. the sample size is too small for daily

Yeah i've had this happen too, there are up and down days and over the month, it will even out.
You can't expect everyday to be a good day!

 

but i thought revenue was given by the amount of clicks ? so i don't understand how 27 clicks can only pay me $0.75

 

as rmt99e stated, its because not all ads have the same bid value. It really depends on the ad that was clicked. Some keywords are more valuable than others.

I've had instances where I've earned pennies per click and other instances where its more like quarters/dollars per click.

That Google is a tricky one! Not even major million dollar Adwords spenders can get straight answers out of them. Sometimes I think that they do what they want to do...

plus if it is movie related site...i even have more doubts now that it yeilded that revenue....
you have to have all more than 1 dollars ad which is very unlikely

Google brought on your site high paying keyword ads and your users ended up clicking on them.

Today google didn't bring high paying keyword ads or/and your users clicked on only low paying ads.

And no - all clicks aren't paid the same amount of money.

 

well still i am not convinced that those were all more than 1 dollars ads....or max i have seen is 3 dollars ad....

plus normally things doesnt change over night with google and seo...
it he was making $40 yesterday....he may drop ....may be to 20$ ...or ok $15....
but dropping to cent....
something doesnt seems quite right in whole plot...lol
