I created a blog based on Google trends about a week or so ago just to see how adsense works, I use a program to wrangle the news articles content and post them, change words here and there that look bad and then I submitted the articles to social bookmarks. Everyday has been in the $1.50 range but yesterday because of Jon and Kate Gosselin all over the web I made almost $8.00 Today only .50 cents so far, slow day in the news I guess. Question would there be red flags if content is wrangled? And I changed words around as well. Not sure if the $30 dollars so far are good or not. I also used some feeds from some news networks and linked back to them for source credit, can you do that? the news articles I promoted are not from feeds though. Thanks Ruben
You'll never get anywhere if you copy or re-hash articles. With blogging, it needs to be personal and unique to develop readers, bookmarking links and traffic from the serps. If you're writing about celebs/entertainment/news etc you certainly need to add your own "Spice"! Be controversial, grab on to the breaking news when it happens and you'll earn plenty of money down the road.
I do add my own spin on it, like in the tittle and the first paragraph as an introduction. You're right controversial is what attracts people, and believe me it has, today I woke up to 63 cents, It's almost nothing but it's nice to see how it adds up. Thanks for the suggestions
I do have my long term blogs and this one that could give me a few bucks with little effort. It's about attacking all angles.
Even though you are re-writing the articles, I appreciate your effort in having a plan and following it efficiently. Half begun is well begun and I am sure with dedicated effort and increased motivation of the money, you will end up writing your own stuff too. Btw...congrats on inflating bank balance! Regards, RightMan
I do love to write about controversial stuff, I wish I had clones of me. I have a few articles in the Hubpages, here's one of them. Don't pay attention to the ads, just to show everyone I am working on different projects, besides this. Here's one of my articles from Hubpages on Google search, it is the first one http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=+site:hubpages.com+gays+in+the+military+not+a+wise+idea+hub So expanding to different ideas is the way to go.
Social bookmarkings and surprisingly MSN, they seem to like the site, it gets indexed fairly quick, I added the PressStat reloaded on my wordpress blog and that is how I know where the hits originate from.
