Yesterday .08 cents for 1 click. Today $1.40!

The click rate is very inconsistent for me as well. January is my worst month so far.

 

Same for me, terrible month.
My earnings for one site went to a tenth of what they were before.

January was fine here untill the last few days, it's a long month and advertising budgets are probably running out.. let's see it this theory is right tomorrow .

 

Its really wierd, i had one big advertiser till about 15th jan paying $1 a click, then back to $.10 now.

Why would someone bid that high??? Retard...

I believe that I am experiencing the same phenomenon. On my new site I have been getting on average around 3-4 clicks a day and a total of $.80 or so. However yesterday I logged in to see I had made $3.40 ON THAT DAY with only 5 clicks. What gives? I didn't change anything, that means that someone was paying almost .70 per click!!

Now today when I logged in I expected to either be back to normal at .70 a day or to see another $3... Well I didn't see either, I see 3 clicks as usual but only $.18!!! what the heck?!?!

Makes no sense to me at all.. what is going on here?

 

I think it might be a mixture of varying bids, and smart pricing.

The bids are varying, but so is how much google is willing to pay you. Unfortunately we can't do anything about either.
