I was just wondering, what kind of advertising and marketing do you do to get people to your BANS site and how much is the most you've ever made from your BANS site? Also, do you offer anything else on your BANS pages (like advertising or AdSense or pay a portion of your earnings to charity?) Basically do you do anything else besides let it sit there bored...?
No ads or marketing for me...natural organic traffic! Use adsense and amazon to supplement. Making pretty good with my sites. Not quite a thousand a month, but close...

Do a search for it Keep the advice coming though... BTW... I was thinking of adding the feature that I'll donate a portion of my earning to charity around the holidays... the least I can do. One more thing, what's the biggest method to gaining the most traffic: a. Find a niche with low cost items with the possibility to make more money because many people can afford it b. Adding expensive items, getting lower traffic click through BUT higher commissions when they do go through with it and possibly win the item
BusinessMinded08, I was a succesful BANS user before I ditch the eBay (sighz a long story). Here's the kicker: targetted traffic is all your need to make $ with BANS. You should start with market research. Promote only the hot selling items, you can find it easily from eBay pulse. This is very important as you want to find a niche with tons of buyers. Next you will have to SEO the site with brand name/model name/product name as your keywords. Make sure you add in extra unique contents like review articles or how-to guide. Make your website unique so that the SE will reward you more. Here's a secret: Write a honest review, point out both goods and the bads of the product. It will increase your conversion rate. Another killer tip: keep your eyes open when you watch TV or listening to the radio. Say you are in football niche, are there any upcoming events? Just an example, FIFA will be held this year. During the event, the search volume for FIFA related keywords will soar. People will go online to look for items like tickets, DVD, autograph of FIFA celebrity.. etc etc. If you've parepare yourself for any upcoming event(SEOing before everyone does) you have some serious cash to bank in.

I am still debating whether or not to run adsense on my bans site. Anyway, I am trying it out on one of my sites for now, and see how my earning are.
Google is on record saying that Adsense will not hurt organic results.. So I don't see any problem here. If that's what you are worried about.. Or are you worried about driving end-users away from clicking on the ebay links?
