Well I'm something like 40 posts behind the leader, so I'll probably come 2nd, someone might beat me, who knows? Take it like a man, you've been disqualified for breaking the rules, accept it and let us get on with the contest. I'm not actually just there for the contest, I've got quite a bit of information from the forum and I'll actually continue posting after the contest is over, even if I don't finish 1st or 2nd.

Yeah. There's a different between taking it like a man and taking it like a stupid man.

Well, just cut the crap here. Since I'm out of the contest, the nearest member who can reach you need to made at least another 70 post before then can match you. And this guy has stop posting in the forum for a long time too. I wonder why... Heck, even if he managed to catch up with you I believe he will eventually have the same fate with me right?

Anyway, both of you have been reported to the admin. Good luck.

    Cheers!

It does sound a little strange why someone would pay about $1000 in a forum posting contest when you can hire posters for much cheaper, furthermore I can tell you that when this contest is up, how many people are actually going to stay?

I wouldnt be suprised if there was some dodgeyness in this contest.

I've been reported to the Admin of Digital Post for entering a contest on a completely different forum? Dear me.

awiekupo it's not only me who is telling that you have double posted. There is a fellow member who is saying that to. We are not running this as stupid as you are saying. We ban people who double post so as to be fair with other members.

For those who are sceptic about this method of getting members and get post just watch on. YOu will in approx 10 days that this method is very good.

As I said we will announce the winners here for everyone to see. We are still getting members signing up and starting now to participate in the contest!

3 more members joined the contest. It seems like the closer the date is the more members will join in ;) Thanks for your response...

Could you please clarify what you justify as spam?

I mean, if I was to sign up the day before the end of the contest, reply to every single thread with a meaningful and related post, plus create 10+ relevant threads, thus giving me an average post count of something stupid like 200/a day, would I be disqualified?

There is no limit on how much you can post per day. The following is considered as spam:

    -> fews words per post
    -> posting non sense threads
-> replying only to threads in the general forums, introduction forums. It's a webmaster forums and hence 75% of the content should be webmaster related.

As I have said the two winners will be announced here....

The top two posters after removing spammy threads were

    whitearrow
    and
    iwantcash

I am saying this because I got people telling me that they won.. Those are the winners and my decision is final. Thanks for all those who participated. ;)

With a name like Iwantcash..you'd think he was only there for the money. Your forum will become inactive very quickly.

I was cheated out of the contest.

    1) I had the most posts
    2) Their spam wasn't deleted and they should have had less posts at the end
    3) I should have got a warning if I had spammed like other contestants, which is only fair, you said we get two warnings so I still should be first
    4) I am a dedicated member who was prepared to continue posting after the contest which I'm sure they're not
    5) They worked together to spam at the end and beat me

Hecky: I still have to give them the money since they won. That is their decision to stay or not. According to what he says he will stay..

Lustre: I have already explained to you on MSN. I am going to explain for the last ime.

    1. you had but in the end you did not..
    2. I have removed all the threads that I think are spam.
    3. There were members who have been banned right away... Also I have been removing threads and posts through this month without warning.. I have removed thread from you from whitearrow and even from iwantcash and poell
    4. even they are dedicated
    5. you should have though of that and team up with someone else

    You lost end of story...

This is what you said to others:

make sure you follow your words!

    1) Your judging was wrong
    2) Your judging was wrong
    3) Doesn't make a difference, you didn't treat each contestant equally
    4) You don't know that
    5) The fact that you said that is laughable

I wouldnt be suprised if WhiteArrow and Iwantcash are your own users because :

    A. Who spends about $1000 on a posting contest?
    B. Why don't you get a decent forum software with that kind of money
    C. WhiteArrow and Iwantcash seem to be posting less than one minute apart. They are definately working together or the same person.
    D. You seem to be eliminating all the members from DP.
    E. Whitearrow and Iwantcash have only 1 post between them.

    Thanks,

    Hecky

I can reply to all your skeptical questions:

    1. It is me who spend $800 in forum posting. Considering how much I tried to raise a forum, the time to link etcetc I think it is much worth it this way. I work for the money I pay others to post.
    2. I like phpbb more than vbullitin. It has a lot of hacks that I can add and most of all I support free open source software
    3. If i had to post 250 * 2 = 500 posts it would not be worth it since I would have done 1/3 of the posts... If they are the same person I don't care. What I know is that I have talked to two different persons through MSN with different emails and different paypal IDs.
    4. I have advertised the contest no only on DP but on other forums too so it obvious that I get member not from DP. It happens that the winning members are not from DP.
    5. I don't care about this. Actually before I removed spammy threads there was more difference between them..

You don't care if they're the same person? You're ridiculous and should be banned for this.

I used to monitor IPs when they were posting they were from different IPs. So it implies that they are different persons..

You would say that if you're in on it yourself.

Even if they are different people, I still should have won and the contest was NOT fair.
