Yellow Pages Script

I'm working on a "website directory service" I have been using SOBI2 under Joomla. I'm poplulating it with a service I run.

I think eDirectory.com script is by far the best. I recently bought it after I got an email from them about a 15% discount if you use the discount code, "April"

I'm kind of excited to see how I can make this into a money making machine.

 

For my local yellow pages site I use Joomla and a directory component called Sobi2 www.sigsiu.net/sobi2.html. It has great support and can be customized to fit most needs, best of all its free and open source.

Looks good! But I find Joomla too resource intensive and slow.

would be nice to see something pro like that running on wordpress!

I have used "IndexScript" for My site www.punchads.com The problem is after installing the script ...
When i click on the Any LInk on the main page that is redirecting to http://localhost/* Can any one please help me how to Correct that

I have evaluated Esyndicat, Php Link Directory, and looking at PhpMyDirectory.

Does anyone have used edirectory (the most expensive one), Is it worth the money? Does it still take you alot of customizing website work like using eSyndicat?

Or is there a Web Directory Software, that can also reduce the work on customizing the tpl/html design of the website?

Have you try other web directory software, like esyndicat? How do u compare eDirectory with eSyndicat or other web directory software that u have tried?

eDirectory really has a complexed pricing, I am wondering if I buy the Basic Edition for $199, is there still other cost? Does it take a programmer alot of time to change the html or css on a eDirectory website?

Actually, you don't have to code anything at all. If you want to change things around, only then, you can do your own coding.
