I'm happy, I submited my link to google a while ago, got some nice content up their, and it's up here. I didn't even relise what I was doing.
Good for you. Now go add your site to some free web directories using variations of your page title, description, and words on the page and you can probably make the first page of Google for the search term in your graphic.
errr, dont mean to p*ss on your parade here, but up where exactly, thats 39th place for an uncommon search term..... Im ranked 1st to 3rd for a few hosting related terms and get about a thousand uniques a month from them, but it took me over 50,000 backlinks to get those listings!!
well i don't really care to be honest, it might be uncomonbut atlest we got there and we actually got about 1 searches lsat night.
Its good to see you have achieved good rankings, but its also important that there should be decent amount of searches for the same, our website ranks in Top 10 for "Web Hosting" and related top keywords and still the search traffic is not up to the mark
yes but you are 39th on the list mate, Im not trying to be "mean" but 39th aint going to get you more than one maybe two clicks a YEAR at most. You have got listed, thats a start, now concentrate on boosting your position. Until you are first page you wont get any traffic at all.
As a couple of the other guys have said, to be honest its nothing to get excited about, that search term would be so unpopular its not even worth worring about, even more so the fact its not a top 5 position or even a first page position. As for not caring wether its unpopular or not, well to be honest you should care, its no good being number 1 for loads of search terms that dont get used. Doing good SEO/SEM work is about making the most amount of traffic that will convert into sales for the least amount of money and work, thats what counts not anything else. Nobodys bitching at you fella just saying your good at SEO because you have managed a 39th position on a search term which most people in that trade would not care about or even think about chasing is hardley a massive SEO achivement worth telling the whole DP community about, if your happy with yourself then cool and I hope it give you motivation to work on your site harder and make it a succesful site with thousands of visitors a day. Just I would not try getting any recognition for your sucess on these forums unless the achivement is much higher and even then your only gonna get jelouse people bitching at you if you did really well for a massive search term. trying to boast about serps you have managed to get on any search term is just going to attrct negative attention no matter how you loook at it and is not advisable IMO.
Yes it might not be something to through a party about but it's like the first time I got ranked good in G.
And congrats to ya fella. Just dont expect evrybody on here to be saying the same thing, if there was a thread made for everybody who manged what you have then the forum would be full of look what postion I manged everyday and would be naf. People dont what to hear about such things genrally and these type messages always attract negative attention as you have found.
We're not trying to be nasty here, its just the OP comes under the thread of things that are totally irrelevant to the rest of the digitalpoint population. Now if your site was in the top10 straight away, it WOULD be newsworthy, its just the 39th place spot doesnt warrant it. Id also bet that the click was one that you did, before you jump down my throat I am sure you've forgotten about it and Im not saying that you have lied at all, Im just saying, getting any traffic from 39th spot for ANY search is highly unlikely, unless you had a vested interest in the search result. Anyway, keep up the work and good luck with bettering your positions! MOG
The keyword 'webhosting unmetered' actually only has a competition of around 29,000 on Google and is not a highly searched / competitive search term
extremely likely, as you would have had to search to find it in the first place. by the way mate, and again, I really dont want to sound picky here, but your spelling and grammar are ATROCIOUS, especially for a British kid!!
