Good. It's about time a Muslim did something right. :)

No, I sure don't. I quit watching TV completely in 2003.

I forgot the English have no sense of irony. Re-read my statement with humor in mind and you'll "get it" I'm sure. The smiley should have been your clue.

It's pretty difficult to pick up irony in forum posts, especially noing nothing about whos posting ;)

Anyway, I'm never taking lessons in irony off of a North American after Alanis Morissette :p

There are many stories like these in USA alone where Muslims help Jews and Jews help Muslims... but the media doesn't want to report that, they want to report the lunatics..

That is the case of all media coverage. They never report that someone saved somebody's life. Instead they focus on murders, etc.

    Bad news sells.

Very true. I seem to remember a newspaper that was set up over here in Europe to report only good news. It folded within a few months. - That's a pretty sad indictment on human nature really.

I think the basic idea is people want to hear the bad things in order to feel better about themselves. Look at "celebrity gossip."

"Britney Spears" is the number one search term on the internet. It's not because of her singing talent.

It's because she screws up all the time. So average people can say: "At least I'm not as big of an idiot as Britney Spears", despite the fact she still makes millions per year.

    It really is twisted. :D

I think you'd be surprised, I was actually on a Facebook group yesterday where someone was spouting this crap -

I reported his post, but Facebook don't seem to have done anything about it yet :(

Very worrying. When i walk down the road i see a human. Not an Indian, American or Chinese person. A human. Racism is childish and disgusting. We all have the same organs.

Sadly some people don't think like that, I'm surprised how many people spout this crap online, I guess they feel more annoymous than they do in the real world.
