Apparently there's been a bomb threat this AM.... it's 8:30 now and the "bomb" is set to go off at 9:00 am. I think i'm going to go grab a cup of coffee about 8:50 and go sit in the parking lot and have a cig while i watch the fireworks

lol! the place i work at is a 600 million $ a year corporation - we get bomb threats all the time unfortunately. probably just a pissed off ex-employee or something. For my part, i'm still heading to the parking lot in a few minutes.
How did you know when its set to go off? Its you who made that prank call isnt it? he he Usually when there is a bomb thread the building just gets evacuated no matter what. They dont just say: Yeah, its set to go off in 10 minutes so just work for a few more. You still have time.
nope... none. as i said they're pretty commonplace around here, i think they called out the police and did a full K-9 sweep of the building but other than that it was pretty much business as usual round here

My school used to get bomb threats and they would herd us all into the gymnasium like a bunch of cattle. I guess it would be easier to clean up the mess if we were all in one spot.
the school i am in was getting bomb threats for a week... i wasnt in the that school yet, it was like 5 years ago when 9/11 happend everyone got a week of school
I remember a bomb that actually went of in my old school a few years ago. Luckily it happened one or two hours after the school closed so nobody was hurted.
My daughter use to bring home flyers from school saying that they had bomb threats--i actually believe that most schools get them all year round--JMHO
