    I am curious when did you guys find that you got released from the sandbox? Did it just happen one fine day or was it during a big Google update?

    Some of my keywords went overnight from nowhere in 10,000 to top 20 or top 10.
    I've noticed a few things that are fairly consistent for me - I am not sure if this is for everyone but I check about 120 keywords a day since my main site was indexed in January 2005. This is what I found for the majority of them when I ran those keywords through Yahoo's keyword selector tool -

    KW that had under 500 searches a month were in Google's top 10 within 3 months of indexing
    KW's with 500-1000 searches a month were in top 10 within 6 months (almost to the day)
    KW's with over 1000 searches a month are still not in the top 10,000

    As I said, I have no clue if this is typical for anyone else but this is what I have found so far for the site I manage most
