Cars here have gotten so big that the parking spaces at stores and stuff can hardly fit the vehicles.

I usually park as far away from other cars as possible just so I don't get my doors dinged by idiots who swing their 300lb doors open without caution.

I think it's actually illegal to drive one of those Smart cars here. :p

When I lived in the US my company car was a Dodge Ram extended Cab. It was the pits when I had to go anywhere because it was at least 1 1/2 times the size of a parking spot.

A4's (manual) have the parking break under the arm rest. It's actually quite hard to access.

Stop it! You've never lived in the US...you wannabe American!

    Yeah, S4's are NICE!

My wife's sister just bought an '06 A4 T. Quattro. It's a great car- it's kind of fast, gets good gas mileage and is pretty reasonably priced. If I ever have kids I'd definitely buy an Audi.

It is interesting how the width of the roads are so different from southern oregon to San francisco. They squeeze 3 lanes out of the space we have 2 in. The big vehicles like city buses actually are taking the lane from line to line so many times where there is construction (and believe me everywhere I went in SF was under construction!!) the buses and other big trucks had to swerve into the other lane. We were useing a 15 passenger ford van which is about the same as a long bed king cab truck around 20' long and it took up most of the lane and couldn't be parallel parked.

Tampa was like that a few years back. Older roads (like hillsborough ave) were like death traps. 4 lanes (2 each way) in a space where you'd normally have 1 lane each way. It was nuts! I was scared out of my mind to drive down some of those streets
