    Hello, I want to be a web designer so that I can make websites for people part time, so basically a freelance web designer. Are Yard Signs a good source of marketing or advertising? I'm starting off and want customers so I can build my portfolio so in the future I can raise my prices. Do you have any experience with using Yard Signs to advertise your business? How many calls did you get a day or a week? Were they successful? Thank you

    Start with local businesses in your area. See if they have a website or redesign and go in there an pitch them or hand them a flyer if they are busy. Sometimes you can make a website or redesign and show them on your computer and if they like it then it is a sale if not use it in your portfolio. Good luck.
