    Hey,

    Just a quick question.

I've spent quite a lot on high PR links as of late and they are up for renewal in 2 days.

Should I renew or not necessary as Google already taken into account?

    Thanks!

I'm not really sure how long that Google keeps the PR boost from a link that has disappeared. I wouldn't mind knowing the answer to this myself. It probably isn't long and even if you get credit for it during the toolbar update your real PR would probably go down soon after if you have a lot of paid high PR links expiring.

Are you referring to the toolbar update? If so at just a few days away from the next export those values have been taken into account already.

Regarding you "real" PR you will loose some power and probably some rankings if you had many paid links that will now be removed.

No one but google knows when the next PR update will happen or when the cutoff for PR will be. If the PR update happens in the next few days, the removal of the links wouldn't affect what the toolbar shows, but that isn't what google uses for SERPS.

Want millions of visitors to a site?

Register YAPRQ.com and build a forum around it, it has to be one of if not the most talked about facits of webmastering :D

Oh I'm very tempted to! However I have too many ongoing projects as it is.

I'm sure someone else will take up the idea - obviously they will give us each 25% of revenue from it. ;)

Some if lucky G may have another minor PR update the end of April.
This may have chances to take any into account.
