    hello people,
    almost all search engines come with their respective qualities.
    I use google for relevant, rich and informative search results
    Yandex is most popular in Russia and Northern Asia.
    Both search engines comes with Webmaster Tool
    I also use Ask.com for best answer and http://www.google69.com for Google search without ads.
    Bing is also a good alternative

    Come on, Yandex best for Russian queries, Google still one of the best or just more popular for English, Baidu for Chinese. Each one is the best for what it was build for. Google is crap for Russian searches that is for sure.
    BTW thanks for sharing this Google69.com looks like it gives exact same results as AOL search. I like that positions is numbered.

    Yandex gives good results for ukrainian and russian queries, but i think Google has more quality search...

    I suppose you have different Yadnex version than whole Russian community :)
    Doorways and spammy websites you writing about I see in Google SERP, doorway makers just doesn't work with Yandex because: 1) it's hard to get your crappy sites indexed, 2) they get banned in Yandex quickly.
    Of course I'm talking about Russian queries, because it makes no sence to test Russian search engine in foreign languages ...

    And there is one thing - yandex support most always replying, insted of google automatic replies.

    All webmasters use Google in Russia and Ukraine. However, many people use Yandex.
    But Google is better anyway.

    very interesting news is that Bruce Willis from Russia ). Other than that check Yandex share of searches in Russia. It is 70% comparing to 25% that Google have.
    And it is much more relevant, because Google doesn't care about Russian searches because no one buy AdWords over there. So Google is ok just for English searches.
    And still I hate Google with their ads all over the page, so I also use http://www.oko69.com/ which was build specially for SEOs.

    Few people buy AdWords, because it is much more expensive than advertising on Yandex.
