Yahooo VS Googlebacklinks

    I was just curious why is it that a site can have 100+ back links with yahoo and 0 with Google. Maybe a couple here and their with MSN and the others. how is this decided ? Why goes Google not give credit for the same back links?

    I think google does not want to disclose the backlinks publicly. :)

    Google are just a lot more stricter and what URLs they display publicly. Google still count them though, how else would a site with 0 backlinks accorrding to Google have a PR?

    Yahoo is probably best for determining backlinks :)

    you can find all the Google backlinks in Google Webmaster, if you are registered for that :)

    I just found this tool not long ago. I had a new site that was showing only 2 backlinks in google for months. I went into the Google Webmaster area and saw hundreds. It was driving me nuts!
