    I'd crown GMail for the battle. Its much more better and faster than Yahoo. The new Yahoo Mail BETA really sucks for it takes lot of time to load. Not recommended for people with slow internet connections. GMail is much better and it offers free POP3 service as well.

    I currently use both. The gmail interface is a lot slicker. I still have to use the old yahoo mail because the new one errors or crashes all the time

    gmail, all the way for me. Yahoo has way too many flashing adverts. gets really annoying on the eyes. It's getting like myspace with all the flashing going on.

    There has been some down time with gmail recently but they stagger it so not everyone get hit at the same time.

    Hmm.. I have been a long loyal fan of Yahoo.. so it has to be yahoo for me.. I do use lots of yahoo to send my mails when compared to Gmail. Well i will not take away anything from gmail either.. Gmail is also damn good!!

    Gmail no doubt. But I still like yahoo mail because it provided me email from 1997.. At that time other than hotmail, there were very less number of free email service providers.

    gmail is fast and instant compare to yahoo if any mail come in gmail it will automatically upodate without refereshing.

    i prefer gmail.
