    Yahoo will beat Google if they can reach to the common people in the way Google is reaching. Also like Google is providing adsense facility for Indians, Yahoo should also provide the opportunity to Indians so that they can earn from their website.

    I think Yahoo can beat Google if they go international with their advertisement network which presently is limited only to United States. This is the main source of income to any online company and if they increase their limits, i think they can earn a little more.

    Yahoo has done some smart purchases, if they keep doing it, then maybe some day they will beat google! feedburner was a good site that google bought, yahoo has to buy good sites like those to stay in the hunt! sites like, wikipedia, wordpress etc;)

    They improve their search results.

    I think that is only reason how google beat yahoo and other search engines. Now people come at google search and get satisfactory results.
