Yeah my site http://www.aaronsfreebies.com lost it's position for the keyword freebies even though I just did some white hat SEO for it (articles and so on)
Yep - couldn't even post a comment on their blog due to errors. If they can't even operate a blog, how can they hope to improve their search service?
Hopefully they'll iron things out. Thankfully, I have not really experienced anything bad from this. A few rankings dropped, but I am pretty much at the same spots. Every update shifts the pile, but the good stuff always pops back to the top. Maybe all these search engines will one day focus on what they set out to do and stop focus on being a jack of all trades!
This is turning out to be the summer of search engine nightmares. The Google dance from hades wasn't bad enough for web publishers so Yahoo decided to tag team with Google to really make our life miserable. I wish Google and Yahoo would be held accountable for their actions. A lot of really good hard working people are getting hurt by what they are doing and spammers seem to be getting rewarded. They say they want quality, but their search results show something completely else.
