    Skype is better, but I would rather use like google hangouts. Skype hogs the internet a fair bit.

    This is true as well, at one point it was MSN vs Yahoo Messenger at this point it is basically only skype.

    I prefer Skype as I can backup the data and the connection is much more stable than Yahoo.
    Creating groups is one of best benefit from Skype as well.

    Skype is way too better than Yahoo. I love Yahoo but for video and voice quality, Skype is the option.
