Can I have Google Adsense and Yahoo Ads on the same page? If not on the same page, can I have both on the same site? Thanks, Odd Lot
Unfortuantly I think it has to be Google as a general but there aint much in it I think, and for certain topics I actually find Yahoo to be better. I still prefer to use Yahoo ATM simpley as I dont want to add to the problem of Google getting to big as that is bad for all website owners IMO. (I just wish more people would think this way though)
ok yahoo is the best. if my search in yahoo didnt satisfy me. ill go for google. thats weird. huhu. yahoo has been old enuf in this web business..experience tell us all. huhu..
google is alot more known by the average person but yahoo is used more for news and by webmasters or someone who uses the internet on a daily basis. Google is simple and straight to the point. search bar type hit enter... results
All Yahoo services suck! Bad! But google is starting to also. There adsense program, PR and serps in my opinion. I think google is still for the big guy myself.
We have the same reasons. Google just basically says "we mean business" by putting a search bar and nothing else on its homepage. Whereas Yahoo has tons of things on its homepage. It shows the priority these two SEs have.
IMHO Search : Google, but Yahoo is begining to look promising Mail : Google News and Groups : Yahoo, Google is no match for Yahoo Ads : Google (YSM is available only to US publishers) Other Services : Tools etc, Google. Answers, information - Yahoo
I'd have to say Google for searching and e-mail. Its the most reliable and easy source I've come across to date. Yahoo has always seemed a bit over crowded to me.
When it comes to researching google is the best choice but when it comes to messenger I do think that yahoo is the right choice for it. So I am using both of them.
I think the philosophical differences between the companies needs to be look at also. Yahoo wants to create the most user friendly search engine experience for the regular person that wants to search for something and want to spend some time on the web. Google wants be up-to-date with the most latest web developments and wants to present to most user friendly way for a person to be a part of the web, i.e. websites, apps. Google wows the markets and gets gets valued really high and rightly so. Yahoo improves its service and the markets wants more, something new, inventive, creative and easy for users. P.S.: Take a look at my blog post in the first sig link.
I think it depends on your personal preference. I've always used Google over Yahoo but I know a lot of people who seem to be the exact opposite. Both are good and have better qualities than the other in certain aspects.
I think the only difference is the sign up price to start advertising sites Yahoo still charging the £60 minimum to start with and Google ye can start with a fiver. Lets see which one would most choose?
