Yahoo provides a lot for webmasters. Google does too - but Yahoo! is more direct. Google costs money for webmasters to benefit. Yahoo is free.

My vote is for Yahoo. Regardless of any offers Google makes.

Google is much better for me because I live in India. I use all their services : GMail, Adsense, Analytics, Adwords, Google Maps, Groups. It's great having all these with just one account.

As for me, nowadays Google is best for searching, but Yahoo has a lot of interesting information services.

I like Yahoo because my web site's ranking doesn't fluctuate. I've been number one for certain keywords for about two years with Yahoo. Google on the other hand, one day I'm up, another day I'm down.

Google seems to have a wider reach and more people use Google, but I like my site's stability in Yahoo. With Google, I never know how or where my site will rank.

I would agree with all that except for the email. I think Gmail is much better than Yahoo's mail service.

They both have unique qualities, but what I am surprised at is how much Google has dominated this market over Yahoo. But all in all I believe Google has a bette brand and a better search engine.

Ive used Yahoo for over 8 years! and it is my favourite.

My site comes up number 4 when the keyword huyton is entered into Yahoo and yet way down on the seventh page on Google.

I think google has had the advantage of the free publicity from many people who use the phrase "googled it"

When I search for things on the net I yahoooooooo it! :D
