Is this even a debate? There is no question about it, Google destroys it. The interface is much nicer, easier to use, and it has the best algorithm.
google interface is fast to load and fully text based. the quality is also better because sometimes you will find specfic snippetso f the page with keywords are appearing as part of SERPS
google is better any day. It gives more accurate results and also much better indexing is provided with. Whereas yahoo gives more of its own links and later on more results.
People(seo's) like google for page rank and its clarity of searches and mostly use yahoo for backlinks.
Google - First 3 of top 10 results typically are MFA sites, Non-existent/dead URL's, or have nothing relevant to do with the search phrase used. I'm not talking about the adds, I'm talking about the search results. Yahoo... More accurate, but still a bit cluttered IMO. Its too portal-ish to me. I prefer ASK.
Theres really no comparison between G and Yahoo. Google's algorithms are much more accurate. Search results are almost always more RELEVANT, which is really what search is all about. _______ Bizrocket
Google is the most popular which makes it the most important to target. The question of which is better doesn't really matter since they currently own the market and their rankings are the most important. Someone else may have a better ranking method that is more "accurate" but unless people are using it it's no relevant.

Really? Care to provide some examples? If din that more than 90% of the time, not only are more than 30% of the top 10 listings in Google irrelevant, but are almost always either dead URL's or MFA sites.
