Yahoo Vs. Google .. getting backlinks ?

    I have very bizarre question to ask.

    When I have check my back link in Google Chrome toolbar.
    It shows 6 back links from google.
    and 5800 back links from yahoo.

    Why there is huge difference in both sites.
    How can I increase backlinks in google.

    Please give me suggestion. :cool:

    Google only shows a snapshot of your links, you can find more of your links with google webmasters tools (after you verify your site).

    ping your yahoo links to help google find them. most people go by the yahoo result.

    Yeah! This was the same thing that I was about to say.

    If you want a view a better number of links to your website, then use Google Webmaster Tools, ;)
