Yahoo vs Google Election Results

    I found this article comparing yahoo to google when searching for election results.

    it shows that when you search for "election results" google is geared towards 2004 presidential results and yahoo is geared more towards the 2006 midterm results. An interesting read.

    Is google's algorithm too biased towards older data? in this case it would appear the answer is yes. do you think yahoo tweaked their data to show more relevant results for the election, or did this happen based purely on their own algorithms?

    Not entirely surprising - Google does lean toward seasoned sites.
